APDT will be offering the following Awards in 2011:

APDT Blackdog Wear Scholarship

This Scholarship is a joint venture between APDT Australia and Blackdog Wear Australia.  It provides a unique opportunity for an APDT Australia member to use their skills and interests to research and develop a resource of information, packaged in interesting ways and freely available for use by others in the dog world.  It is desinged to encourage innovation and creativity, while promoting positive reinforcement training techniques and APDT Australia. The Susan Wilkins Achievement Award

The Susan Wilkins Achievement Award recognises members who are making significant, voluntary contribution to pet dog welfare and the betterment of dogs' lives. This Award acknowledges the pivotal role of the late Susan Wilkins in establishing APDT Australia, as its founding member, Newsletter Editor and Publicity Officer. Find out more.

The Trainer of the Year Award

This award is for an APDT member who exemplifies the APDT spirit through their commitment to the APDT Vision and Mission, promoting positive reinforcement training and continuing, demonstrated commitment to our Association. Find out more.
